"My key goal as a drama teacher is to lead my students to unlock their minds, unlock their bodies, unlock their fears, and unlock the language of the theatre. Through exposure to new paradigms and new texts, I hope my students will achieve a better understanding of themselves and of people around them. Theatre is a discipline centered on the perils and epiphanies of human nature. But in order for my students to achieve such goals, they must be able to be in tune with themselves. Actors cannot act without knowing themselves."
